We started personal training with Jake immediately after a big New Year. I have been a regular attendee at various gyms. Bill has never done any personal training of any kind, but has lead an active life. We decided we needed to make some changes in our lives, and that included a new diet and help with a training program. When we first met with Jake we were immediately impressed that he was interested in us and what we wanted to achieve. Our goals were very simple, be fitter and lose weight. At the end of the first 4 weeks I have lost 5cm from my waist after not changing at all for quite some time, in the same time Bill has lost 5.1kg, 6.5cm from his chest and 7cm from his waist. We both feel a lot fitter and stronger than we have in a long, long time. Jake makes personal training interesting, variable and enjoyable. He is very supportive and encourages us to do our best. He does not over train us and is happy to stop us if we are struggling. He makes exercise something we look forward to (most times). We signed on for twice a week for 12 weeks for a “look and see”. After the first 5 weeks we will definitely be furthering our training. In one word, Jake is “awesome”.

Before I started at Positive Existence Personal Training my health and fitness was on a downward spiral. I have always enjoyed playing sport and that now was becoming less enjoyable due to my lack of fitness. Since starting with Jake I have got my spark back and can’t wait to get back into the touch football season. In 4 weeks I have lost 5.5kg, 3% bodyfat and dramatically improved my strength, power and overall fitness. I enjoy every training session and feel so much better for it.
