How To Guarantee Your Improvement!
Have you ever had a light bulb moment where something so incredibly obvious has hit you right in the face?
For me it happenned last week when i was sitting listening to one of my business idols speak at a seminar i was at. He was talking about testing and measuring and how by simply doing that you will almost certainly improve.
I've heard this a thousand times before but for some reason this night it just clicked!
If you think about it in a fitness context if i was to weigh you every week do you think you would want to see it moving down each time? Therefore do you think it might have an impact on your behaviour in between each weigh in? In my experience that answer for most people is yes!
You see it comes down to two things 1 - being aware fo exactly where you are and where you want to be. This will make the road to get there much clearer. Eg: of you were in the city and wanted to get to Redcliffe you could pretty quickly work that out, but what if you woke up and didn't know where you were? I can tell you from experience it's much harder to get back to Redcliffe ;)
The second point is accountability. If you knew you were weighing in on wednesday there is a good chance that it's going to change your behaviour during the days before it. So you're less likely to eat those Tim Tams or miss that workout. Make sense?
So while i was sitting there and this guy was talking about testing and measuring i was thinking to myself that we really need to figure out a way of being able to test our bootcampers more regularly so they get even better results!
So i've been racking my brain for the last few days trying to figure out the solution and i think i've come up with something that will at least give us a good start (until we get a better idea).
We're going to add some specific measure up sessions where you can come in get your measurements done by a trainer, answer a few little questions and make sure that you remain on track. Keeping you accountable and aware of where you're at. This extra service will be at no extra cost, just our way of adding more value to your life :)
This is how it will work - Wednesdays we will have a trainer available between 5:00-5:30pm and 6:00-6:30pm so you can do your measurements and then rip into a boot camp sesh.
Saturdays we will have a trainer available between 6:00-6:30am before 6:30 bootcamp and from 8:30-9:00am after 7:30 bootcamp.
This will start as of this Saturday the 25th of Feb :)
PS: Part 2 of how we're going to help you test and measure your results more closely will be coming your way in a few days!
