How To Burn Fat Fast!
People often think that when trying to burn fat they need to exercise for really long periods of time….
Thankfully that’s not the case and it’s actually more beneficial to workout more intensely for shorter periods J
Let me explain…You see body fat is simply energy stored by the body so what we’re aiming to do is burn as much energy as possible - not only while we’re working out but long afterwards as well!
We do this in two main ways….
- Is the choice of exercises you use and
- The intensity and rest intervals you use.
So which exercises should you choose?
The best exercises for burning as much energy as possible are the ones which use multiple joints at the same time. Put it this way – for a joint to move muscles must be activated and for muscles to be activated energy must be used therefore more joints = more muscles = more energy!!
I’ll give you some examples of great multi joint exercises in the video workout at the bottom of this post J
What about intensity and rest intervals?
Well in short to burn as much fat as possible long after you’re working out you need to perform High Intensity Interval Training. Basically this means working hard, having a quick rest and repeating J
So what does all this look like?
Here’s a great little video workout taken from our membership website – give yourself about 10 minutes and rip into it!!!
You should be able to see what I mean about exercise selection and interval training J
